Digital Adoption and Technology Training Manager

You will be responsible for the way in which we achieve adoption of technology across the firm globally. You will be particularly focused on ensuring we achieve the maximum benefit from our ?10m+ of year on year new technology investment.

This will involve ensuring the success of our software platforms by delivering training, guidance and support to ensure lawyers and business teams understand which technology to use when and how to use it.

The role:

  • Expertise in managing a global function to deliver successful outcomes across entire organisations, with consideration to both global and local requirements.
  • Chair and operational lead for the Digital Adoption Board and its working groups, managing a pipeline of adoption challenges in the firm and solving them progressively, in collaboration with and working with, relevant teams across the firm (inc. Change Delivery, L&D, Projects and Architecture) on how to achieve the best adoption for the solutions and services to be deployed.
  • Responsible for designing and implementing the firm's strategy for achieving adoption of technology solutions. Working with the Technology Leadership Team and CTO to help shape our approach to technology strategy more broadly whilst working closely to support and guide the Change Delivery teams.
  • Setting the firm's technology training strategy, designing the workstreams to deliver it and implementing those workstreams across practice groups and our global office network, collaborating with the wider L&D team as and when appropriate.
  • Leading the digitisation and modernisation of our technology training.

Experience:

  • Experience of setting organisational training policies and designing training and adoption programmes.
  • Understanding of the legal industry and has experience in the sector or professional services.
  • Proven record in change and transformation.
  • Experienced people manager, including of large / multiple teams and globally distributed teams.
  • Proven ability in making decisions in time-critical situations.
  • Experience in resource management and work scheduling & allocation.
  • Ability to dive into day to day and manage and develop successful teams.
  • A strong networker with the ability to influence including senior leaders.
  • Commercially driven and able to design and track projects based on an ROI.
  • Exceptional communicator.
  • Strategically minded.
  • Able to support and drive technology adoption through projects and initiatives
