You will provide expert defence services for public and employers' liability claims across both private and public sectors. We are currently seeking a Solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE to join the Casualty Fraud Team in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of predominantly fast-track claims (and/or multi-track depending on experience) where fraud is suspectedHandle direct instructions from insureds and insurers, and manage internal referrals involving commercial, public sector, and insurance clientsOversee day-to-day case activities including client, opponent, court, and witness interactions, and conduct liability investigationsUtilise a specialist team for intelligence searches and counter fraud enquiries

Skills & Experience Required

Personal Injury (PI), including EL and PL (Highways)Housing disrepairProperty damageComplete MI procedures as requiredMeet financial and chargeable targetsAdhere to deadlines, SLAs, quality measures, and KPIsComply with relevant policies and procedures

About You

Qualified Solicitor/Legal Executive with a strong interest in casualty claims and fraud4+ years’ PQE (preferred but not essential do not be discouraged to apply if you are below 4+ PQE)Experience handling defendant EL/PL casualty claims essentialExperience with defendant EL/PL specific fraud claims desirableKnowledge of PL, EL, Highways, and Housing LawStrong caseload management, drafting, influencing, communication, and team working skills
