Fraud Solicitor – Manchester – up to £50,000 + Excellent Benefits Package – Generous Bonus Scheme

The Role

Due to the development and expansion of the firm's Casualty Fraud Team, it is now seeking to appoint a Solicitor to work alongside its existing Casualty Team dealing with Employers and Public Liability Fraud claims.

The role will involve managing a mixed caseload of Defendant fast-track and multi-track fraud EL/PL matters. There will also be the opportunity to support Partners on high-value cases.

The ideal candidate will have experience of defending litigated claims where fraud is alleged with excellent knowledge of the CPR and litigation.

There is a steady flow of new instructions from existing clients and the firm is seeking a motivated, technically strong lawyer with ambition, who can develop relationships and provide an exceptional level of service to its clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defending litigated claims where fraud is alleged
  • Managing a mixed caseload of Defendant fast-track and multi-track fraud EL/PL matters
  • Supporting Partners on high-value cases
  • Developing relationships with clients and providing an exceptional level of service

Requirements:

  • A 0-3 year PQE solicitor, preferably with experience defending litigated claims when fraud is alleged
  • Excellent knowledge of the CPR and litigation
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and targets
  • Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
  • High standard of verbal and numerical reasoning
