The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Class Teacher to join the dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early years education and a proven track record of inspiring and engaging young children. As a Reception Class Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where each child can thrive and develop a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning and positive behaviour.
  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing feedback and support to ensure all pupils achieve their potential.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the holistic development of each child.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in events, extracurricular activities, and staff meetings.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • A thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum and best practices in early years education.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for continuous improvement in teaching practice.
