The Role: The Senior Administrator is a highly involved support role, working closely with the Co-Founder and Chartered Wealth Manager, assisting with the delivery of an exceptional financial advice and wealth management service to a select number of private clients. Based in the Wiltshire countryside (SN5), Lexington Wealth Management are an independent, family run financial planning business. As a key member of their small, collaborative team, you will enjoy a highly varied and responsible role where you will be able to make a significant and valued impact on the business, the team and the client experience. You will also have the opportunity to progress and will be supported with studying for professional exams if you choose to do so.

The Person:The successful Senior Administrator will have experience of working in the financial services sector in an involved support capacity and will have exceptional organisational, administrative and customer service skills, which will combine to result in the effective and efficient delivery of a market leading financial planning service. Experience of working in the financial planning / financial advice sector would be beneficial but is not essential for the right candidate, as training and support will be provided.

Salary and Benefits: up to £40,000 (dependant on experience) plus an exceptional benefits package including flexible/hybrid working + 27 days holiday (23 days + birthday + 3 days Christmas Close) + 8 days bank holiday + generous pension (9% employers contribution) + 4x salary death in service + training and continued professional development.This is a full-time role, but we are happy to offer flexible working hours and hybrid working for the right candidate (a minimum of 3 days a week in the office).

Senior Administrator, Financial Services; Responsibilities include:

  • Provide the Financial Planners with the administrative assistance and support involved in providing a market leading financial advice and wealth management service.
  • Manage appointment schedules, arrange and coordinate client meetings, prepare and collate the information / supporting documents required, attend meetings to take notes as required and ensure all matters arising from meetings are actioned efficiently.
  • Oversee the administration team, arrange and host internal weekly catch-up meetings and coordinate workflow to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Develop relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring they are receiving a service that exceeds their expectations.
  • Take responsibility for the client on-boarding process and file maintenance.
  • Compile and maintain client documentation including investment statements, account summaries and regulatory filings.
  • Assist with client research and due diligence.
  • Stay abreast of regulations and ensure compliance with financial planning standards.

Senior Administrator, Financial Services; Skills required:

  • Previous experience gained in a highly involved support role, working for a financial services organisation. An understanding of financial planning / financial advice is preferable but not essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • A strong relationship builder and motivational team player, with excellent interpersonal skills and caring and considerate approach.
  • Exceptional administrative and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to learn and take responsibility, able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Intelligent and IT Literate, proficient in MS Office (especially Word, Excel and Outlook).
