The Governors are seeking to appoint an ambitious, dynamic and well-qualified Curriculum Leader of Music. The successful candidate will join a supportive, forward-looking school, which places teaching and learning at the heart of everything we do.

The role involves having accountability for curriculum provision, delivery and outcomes at Key Stage 3 and 4. If you have the drive, determination and ambition to maximise opportunities for our young people, then we would love to hear from you.

Hurstmere School is a popular, non-selective secondary academy for boys aged 11 – 16, serving the local community of Sidcup. It is a special place, with a strong sense of community and a determination to succeed in all that we do. The school is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all pupils and a “culture of vigilance” to safeguard and protect all in its care. There are policies and procedures in place, including safer recruitment procedures. All staff and volunteers are expected to uphold this safeguarding commitment.
