ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK

ST. ALBANS

SALARY UP TO £33,000 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Our client is a construction, plant and haulage family run business providing the best quality of service. They work closely with clients to provide the best possible services and solutions which include short lead times as well as sourcing of bespoke products and providing technical and expert advice.

The role of the Accounts Payable Clerk involves the following tasks.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS/ DUTIES
Accurate recording and processing of supplier invoices in a timely mannerMatching purchase invoices to orders and delivery notesInputting invoices on to purchase ledger systemFiling of delivery notes, purchase orders and paid invoicesSupporting Subcontractor payroll team as requiredAd hoc departmental administration duties as required
EXPERIENCE/ KEY REQUIREMENTS
Must have Sage experience.Experience in working within an administration/accounts roleAbility to work with high volume data inputAble to multi taskDemonstrate good time management and organisational skillsProficient in MS Office applicationsGood attention to detail and high level of accuracySelf-starter/ work on own initiativeExcellent communication skills with customers, suppliers and other members of staff; a team playerIdeally a car owner/driver
