With a sizeable workforce, they provide a vast range of service lines to a diverse client base.
Description
As an Audit Senior, you will be supervising and leading all stages of audit assignments, end to end.
- You will work on a varied portfolio of client industries varying in size from owner-managed businesses, to more complex and international groups and companies quoted on The London Stock Exchange.
- Circa 70%+ of your time dedicated to corporate audits.
- Oversee the planning and finalisation stages
- Ensure high-quality service delivery to clients and offering suitable solutions to any key issues
- Take ownership of assignments and delivery to budget
- Identify new business opportunities to provide added value to clients
- Maintain a professional relationship with clients and colleagues
- Adhering to updated accounting standards and regulations inline with IFRS, UKGAAP and FRS102
- Collaborating with the wider team, supporting the training, supervision and coordination of junior members of the team
Profile
A successful Audit Senior should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or equivalent
- Practical audit focused experience in a UK professional services environment
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- An analytical mindset with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in audit software, knowledge of Caseware, CCH and Microsoft Office Suite
