Resorts World is a leisure destination owned by Genting UK Ltd. Genting owns and operates many exciting brands within the centre, including Resorts World Casino, Santai Spa, Genting Hotel, Sky Bar & Restaurant, Vortex Gaming family arcade, The World Bar, The Sports Bar and a thriving meeting and events business. Located opposite the Resorts World Arena and the NEC, Resorts World is part of a busy campus that attracts millions of consumers every year to a diverse range of concerts, exhibitions and events. A vibrant destination with a beautiful lakeside location, it offers a fun and fast-paced working environment.

An opportunity has arisen to join the fabulous team at Sky Bar & Restaurant. This role is for a full time Cocktail Bartender, working 40 hours per week. Our Bartenders greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, prepare and serve beverages and food. You will also upsell items, utilise proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties. 

Key competencies and duties include:

  • A minimum of 1 year previous cocktail making experience is required.
  • Welcoming customers, making recommendations and taking drink orders.
Understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques. Make drinks and cocktails at our prestigious 5th floor rooftop Bar. Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing rubbish, cleaning tables, washing glasses, utensils and equipment. A positive, engaging personality and professional appearance. Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and late finishes.  Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Strong task and time management abilities. Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol. Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations. Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions.
