Role Description

This is an on-site role for a Sales & Wedding Coordinator at Ingliston Estate & Country Club. The role involves coordinating and selling wedding packages, corporate events, liaising with clients, managing events, and providing excellent customer service. As a Sales & Wedding Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless event planning and execution to create unforgettable experiences for clients. This role is a mix on weekdays, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays so flexibility is needed.

Responsibilities

  • Wedding Planning and Event Management skills
  • Sales & Business Development Skills required
  • Operate and maintain a computerised system (Guestline) for responding and coordinating and tracking sales enquiries, bookings and availability
  • Liaise and maintain a relationship with other departments to ensure the effective, efficient and smooth running of events
  • Assist in promotional and marketing activities as required
  • Assist with the development of brochures and sales/promotional materials
  • Assist with updates and postings to Social Media sites
  • Contribute to the preparation of annual sales and events targets
  • Ensure a prompt and professional response and follow-up to sales enquiries
  • Customer Service and Communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of the hospitality or events industry

Qualifications

- Previous experience in hotel or restaurant event planning is desirable

- Strong organisational and time management skills are essential

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Passion for hospitality and guest services

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

- Great eye for detail
