Job Description Summary

Cushman and Wakefield are looking for an experienced individual to join their team working as the Social Value Executive for one of their most esteemed clients.

We are looking for an individual who has the capabilities and desire to make an impact within the commercial property industry and society through the delivery of exceptional social value and customer experience, health and wellbeing to the occupier and local community.

This role will be part of an exciting, newly developed team with people who can bring much more than traditional property management and customer service skills to the table. You will work across the cluster, influencing teams and suppliers to deliver initiatives that support the strategic objectives of the client.

Job Description

This role will be dedicated to ensuring that the properties under its area of responsibility are on track to achieve the clientâs Social Value and experience targets & objectives.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Develop implementation plans, influence stakeholders and lead execution across assets and communities within your responsibility
  • Liaise with occupiers to develop a social value and community engagement plan to meet social value targets and objectives
  • Ensure that regular occupier engagement meetings are held which incorporate social value as a key agenda item
  • Oversee events and enlivenment activity to ensure successful delivery
  • Act as the key contact of escalated key complaints and manage the complaint process
  • Liaise with key stakeholders (such as Local Authority representatives) and organisations to support delivery of social value objectives
  • Develop partnerships with local suppliers to support events
  • Support tendering and recruitment processes when appointing new members of onsite teams and supply chain partners.
  • Contribute to the collection, monitoring and recording of social value data
  • Provide updates of progress against key performance metrics
  • Provide the client with case studies on social value and occupier engagement for investor reporting
  • Identify new opportunities for social value initiatives and programmes
  • Conduct regular audits to drive consistency and best practice of the properties within your area
  • Lead the completion of any actions arising from both internal and third party audits
  • Help gain external recognition and celebrate successes to demonstrate achievement and reinforce behaviours that support the strategy

Knowledge and experience:

  • A track record of implementing initiatives that contribute to social value, customer experience and community connections
  • Events planning, marketing, PR or community engagement experience would be an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in effectively engaging and influencing multiple stakeholder types
  • Good Written Communication Skills & attention to detail
  • Ability to negotiate and encourage businesses and people to take part in events
