We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our team and provide support to the accounting department. As a growing and dynamic organization, we pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team and contribute to our continued success.

Key

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable.

• Process invoices and payments.

• Perform reconciliations of accounts including regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and maintain a filing system for financial documents.

• Provide support to the finance team.

Experience/skills required:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.

• Previous experience in accounting role is advantageous but not essential; we welcome applications from recent graduates.

• Familiar with accounting software (e.g. Sage 50cloud Accounts and Xero) is a plus.

• Be able to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.

• Proven time management skills.

• Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines.

• Ability to demonstrate personal drive and commitment to work.

• Possess good interpersonal skills and attention to details.
