Location:WS8, Walsall
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM – 3:15 PM
Duration: Long-term position confirmed until January

Smile Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 student with high complex needs at a Walsall Primary School. This is a long-term role offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on a child's educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support to a Year 1 student with high complex needs and non-verbal communication.Ensure the safety and well-being of the student, including managing climbing behaviors.Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement tailored learning strategies.Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 TA qualification.Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).Strong understanding of supporting non-verbal students and managing complex behaviors.Team Teach training is preferred; however, for strong SEN Teaching Assistants, we offer Team Teach training during the first week of September.What We Offer:
