Key tasks

Producing all people-related paperwork e.g. contracts, changes to terms and conditionsManaging the HR inbox and responding to queries from colleagues and managersSupporting the recruitment process, including posting adverts, managing responses and coordinating shortlisting and interviewsProcessing payroll tasks and updating systems and trackersSupporting the HR Business Partners with ad hoc reporting, process administration, ER matters e.g. absence management, parental leaveSupporting the onboarding and offboarding of staff e.g. probation periods, exit interviewsOffering guidance on HR policy and processSupporting ad hoc projects and the HUKD people plan

 

Who we're looking for

We are ideally looking for someone with previous HR administration experience, but more importantly, we are looking for someone that can juggle a number of priorities, is an excellent team player and exudes a positive ‘can do’ attitude.

You will be:

Organised and proactive, able to prioritise and work to deadlinesAble to communicate effectively, be approachable and build relationshipsCustomer-focused – managers, employees, colleagues and externally facingAt ease with processing payroll, numerical data and systems managementA dab hand at Excel would be a helpful attribute, as would previous use of HR information systemsKeen to work collaboratively as a team – both within HR and the wider businessEager to learn, spot process efficiencies and able to champion our people initiatives
