Our mixed unit is dedicated to providing comprehensive and personalized care to individuals seeking support for mental health disorders. As the Nurse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the highest standards of care while fostering a supportive and collaborative team atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Leadership: Provide expert clinical guidance and support to the nursing team, ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered to our service users.
- Staff Management: Manage and develop a team of nurses and support staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and quality assurance processes to maintain a safe and effective healthcare environment.
- Care Planning: Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for service users, focusing on holistic mental health care.
- Budget Management: Manage budgets, resources, and supplies efficiently while maintaining the highest level of care.
- Patient Advocacy: Advocate for the rights and well-being of our service users, promoting a patient-centered approach to care.
Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with an active NMC registration.
- Significant experience in mental health nursing, including a strong background in mental health assessment and care planning.
- Previous leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with both staff and service users.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of relevant mental health legislation and regulations.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.
