If you are a multi-tasking problem solver, brimming with ambition, this role, filled with growth and opportunity, is for youKey job elements:In this role you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, primarily focused on internal control monitoring, process risk assessments, and outsourcing risk management.
Your key

responsibilities:
Perform internal control monitoring/testing for four Alternative Investment Fund Managers (AIFMs) within CBRE Investment Management, to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.Conduct process risk assessments to identify potential operational and outsourcing risks and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.Assist Operational and Outsourcing Risk Manager with reporting for the Risk Management Committee, ensuring accurate and timely data is deliveredCollaborate with the Operations team in a strategic business, with their role of overseeing third parties; perform outsourcing risk management in relation to this to ensure adherence to our company's risk management policies and protocols.Coordinate regular meetings with the Depositary, fostering strong relationships and open communication.Assisting with the review of third-party assurance reports to ensure they meet the company's risk management standards and requirements.Execute 2nd line of defence activities, providing an additional level of risk control and mitigation.Assist the business with reviewing, updating, and designing key control descriptions, ensuring they are up-to-date and comprehensive.Assist in interpreting, implementing, and developing risk management policies, procedures, and processes.Facilitate the formulation of risk management methodology and implementation of risk management toolingAssist with internal testing of the EMEA Compliance Monitoring PlanLiaise closely with a number of stakeholders in the business such as Operations, Digital & Technology, CBRE Investment Accounting & Reporting Solutions, Asset Managers, and Fund Controllers.

Our ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Professional education/backgroundBusiness Administration University degree or Business Economics degree in Risk managementAt least 4 years of experience in Operational Risk Management and/or Internal/External Audit
