About Our Client

My client is a dynamic, international and rapidly growing cryptocurrency company at the forefront of the decentralized future. As a remote-first organization, they value flexibility, collaboration, and innovation. Today, I are seeking an experienced and visionary COO (m/f/d) to join their executive team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling crypto startups. As COO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's operational strategy, driving efficiency, and ensuring seamless execution across all functions.

Job Description

Strategic Leadership:

Collaborate with the CEO and other executives to define and execute the company's strategic visionDevelop and implement operational plans aligned with our growth objectivesDrive cross-functional alignment and foster a culture of innovation

Operational Excellence:Oversee day-to-day operations, including finance, HR, legal, and administrationOptimize processes, workflows, and resource allocationEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements in the crypto industry

Scaling and Growth:Lead the company's expansion efforts, both domestically and internationallyManage the scaling process, from hiring to infrastructure developmentFoster a high-performance culture that attracts top talent

Risk Management:Identify and mitigate operational risksImplement robust internal controls and governance frameworksStay informed about industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly

Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and productCommunicate effectively with stakeholders, investors, and partnersRepresent the company at industry events and conferences

The Successful Applicant

Experience: Minimum of 7 years in operational leadership rolesSeveral years of experience working in the Crypto / Blockchain industry Track Record: Successfully scaled a crypto startup from a couple of hundred people to 500 employees and moreStrategic Thinker: Ability to translate vision into actionable plansAdaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environmentRemote Work: Proven experience leading remote teamsCollaborative: Strong interpersonal and communication skills
