This is a key role within our team as you will be dealing with our global supply chain. You will need to be organised and methodical. Attitude is really important – you must be approachable and be able to build rapport.

Key responsibilities

Place all purchase order requirements across our brand portfolioWork with the supply and demand planners to maximise commercial opportunities and minimise areas of risk by regularly reviewing performance and trends and re-planning accordingly.Confirm order books with all live suppliersComplete packaging wastage reports using systems such as VowpackConsistently look up to 6 months outProduce forward 12m procurement plansLiaise with export and logistics to ensure stock is available at the right time into the right warehouse to achieve the commercial planAnalyse supplier delivery performanceBuild relationships and work closely with the product, sales and marketing teams to ensure plans are executed effectively and that stock levels are communicated and agreed in line with plansDeliver KPI’s set by the business


About you

Experience in buyingHigh level of accuracyConfident with MS Word, Excel, PowerpointExperience working with an MRP systemStrong negotiation and communication skillsAbility to proactively work towards challenging deadlines through multitaskingHigh levels of initiative and proactivityStrong commercial acumenGood time management and workload organisationStrong attention to detail
