We’re looking for a Recovery Theatre Practitioner to join our Theatre department at The Portland Hospital
As Recovery Theatre Practitioner is a crucial member of the perioperative team, specializing in patient care during the critical post-operative phase.
You will monitor patients as they emerge from anaesthesia, managing pain, vital signs, and overall recovery to ensure a safe and smooth transition from surgery to full consciousness.
You will be skilled in assessing patient needs and responding quickly to any complications,
You will provide patients with compassionate care, supporting patients through their initial recovery process.

Our theatre team consists of highly experienced Consultants and Practitioners with extensive knowledge across various specialties. Every day, they perform a wide array of complex procedures, spanning acute specialties such as Gynaecology, Obstetrics, as well as general and paediatric surgery.
