Join Guy Carpenter, a Reinsurance specialist, supporting our varied client base.
Our Client Support Services department have an opportunity for a Technician within our UK team. This is available on a hybrid basis, offering home working for 2-3 days after training, with the other days based in our office in Witham and we can consider full time or part time (3 days per week)
Within this role you will be predominantly focused on areas such as Excess of Loss, Treaty - Proportional/Pro-rata and Accounts and Settlement however similar experience in a relevant reinsurance field will also be considered.

We will rely on you to:
- Manage an assigned client portfolio, taking full responsibility of technical duties relating to client accounts, premiums and claims.
- Manage all XOL post, brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e-trading, ad hoc reporting requests, and all transactional process steps.
- Promote, build and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients and Markets
- Participate in training sessions and provide input within the team and/or department for all aspects of reinsurance service processing to assist with troubleshooting.
What you need to have:Â
- Reinsurance experience - Excess of Loss, Treaty - Proportional/Pro-rata and Accounts and Settlement.
- Competent Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Willingness to learn.
- Successful management of workload; with an ability to manage expectations.
