Job Purpose

To provide support for a Lady with physical support needs.

Location: Wiggenhall St German, PE34

Details

Duties to include:

· Assisting with personal care, including providing physical support to dress/undress, have a shower and wash hair.

· Preparing drinks and breakfast to help maintain my nutrition and fluid intake.

· Domestic duties to keep my home clean and tidy, including washing up, doing laundry and changing bed linen.

· Support with accessing the local community.

Person specification

Listed below are the skills, competencies and qualities that are essential and desirable for the post. My assessment of these, both on application and at interview, will be the main factor in determining if you are successful. Please refer to these when submitting your application.

· Previous experience in a similar role an advantage.

· Driver/own car with relevant class of business insurance

Summary terms and conditions

· The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour.

· Hours and times of work: 19.5 hours per week over 5 days (no weekends). 1.5 hours per week for domestic duties, and 3 hours per week support to access the local community. The remaining 15 hours for Personal Care including help with meals.

The post is subject to the following

· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.

· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
