Job Summary:

DBS has an ambitious strategy to transform how they deliver services to customers over the next three years, supporting the Government's digital strategy and leveraging advances in technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the end-to-end service by providing digital channels for customers.

In this role you will play a key role in this transformation, supporting the experienced and high performing DBS Digital Team, providing business analysis expertise to define and validate digital products, services and features, ensuring they are aligned to DBS's digital strategic objectives.

You will work on one of two services initially, both of which are in Beta (Standard Enhanced Application Service and Disclosure Online Results Service). You will be part of the digital team working closely with User Researchers, Data Analysts and Content Designers, to ensure that these digital products are continuously improved using agile user-centred design, aligned to Government Digital Service (GDS) standard.

Essential Criteria:

Ability to proactively problem solve, identify associated impacts and work collaboratively with partners to resolve and mitigate
Able to translate and simplify detailed information into a clear, concise format that is understandable for a wider audience
Ability to provide mentoring to the wider team, contributing to development in business analysis
Experience of working within Agile methodologies including identifying user needs, developing user stories, product backlogs and road maps and working to a minimal viable product
Practical experience of working as a Business Analyst in a multi-disciplined digital team
Experience of communicating and leading workshops effectively
A recognized qualification in Business Analysis or can demonstrate experience of working as a Business Analyst on a Digital Service
Proficient in Microsoft Office, such as Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Visio and PowerPoint
Proficient in the use of tools such as Jira, Confluence and Miro
Desirable Criteria:

Experience of working in a user centred design environment, and application of the GDS Service Standard
