What you'll be doing;
This is a diverse role to provide site support (portering, waste management, grounds maintenance, post room services) including furniture moves and meeting room layouts.
- Deal with any complaints immediately and report them to the Team Supervisor.
- Report faulty or damaged equipment to the relevant Supervisor.
- Management of couriers, post, goods in/out
- Porterage services (lift & shift) where practical (ensuring H&S requirements are met)
- Daily completion of electronic records including logging of stores issued/courier services/volumes of post/reactive tasks/franking.
- Report and repair any fabric/building faults identified whilst carrying out daily activities.
- Escort specialist subcontractors as instructed by the maintenance supervisor.
- Waste management
What we're looking for;
- Experienced using PDAs and computer Aided Facility Management Systems
- Manual Handling trained
- UK driving licence
- Forklift truck licence - desirable
- Confident decision maker
- Able to work within and promote Health & Safety practices
- Motivated, enthusiastic and determined to maximise results
