Supply Desk are working closely with a SEN Secondary School based in Salisbury, that are seeking a full time Teacher to start in September. The role will be covering a range of subjects including Maths, History and Geography across Key Stage 3 and 4. Ideally you will have recent experience working in a similar role and be available immediately. As Teacher you will need to be adaptable in covering a range of subjects and be confident with behaviour management. The School will consider Non-qualified Teachers, that have experience in similar roles, ideally recently. You will need to have a degree and ideally some experience working in a similar role. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone that is seeking a career in education and teaching.

Overview:

Supply Desk are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Supply Teacher to join a SEN Secondary School based in the Salisbury area on a long-term contract with the possibility of a permanent contract. The role would be starting September on a long-term contract until at least December. The successful candidate will be teaching different types of subject to students in KS3 and KS4, working in a supportive department.

About the School:

The School is a mixed SEN Secondary School for students aged from 5 to 16 years with around 89 students in total. The School is based in Salisbury the school and is known for its positive atmosphere with not only the children but staff too.

We are currently looking for Teachers who:

  • Are outstanding classroom professionals
  • Have a clear knowledge and understanding of the Secondary curriculum
  • Comfortable teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Confident covering an array of subjects with a subject specialism being a bonus
  • Are committed, professional and are a good communicators with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Qualified Teacher / Registered with GTC/ QTS/ NQT or any relevant experience teaching in this field.
  • Happy to support more challenging schools where behaviour may be present in the classroom
  • Have a DBS on the Update Service
