Business Development Manager

Pertemps are currently recruiting a Business Development Manager on a full-time permanent basis on behalf of our client based in Shifnal, Shropshire.
The successful candidate will be experienced in Business Development, lead generation and selling on a B2B basis, preferably within the events sector.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
⢠Cold calling a variety of businesses.
⢠Developing business in the field.
⢠Generating Hot, Warm, and cold leads daily.
⢠Able to identify & target specific business sectors/geographical areas.
⢠Networking â Build relationships with potential customers.
⢠Identify requirements for service contract through questioning techniques.
⢠Identify & follow up future requirements/opportunities.
⢠Produce professional service contract quotations and submit.
⢠Follow up all quotes in a timely manner.
⢠Overcome any objections.
⢠Converting leads to a sale.
⢠Setting up customer accounts.
Ideal Candidate:
⢠Experience in a Business Development role within the events sector.
⢠3-5+ yearsâ experience in Business Development.
⢠Comfortable cold calling.
⢠Access to your own transport essential due to site location and client appointments.
⢠Proficient using CRM systems.
⢠Able to work independently and within a team.
⢠Sales aptitude.
Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00am â 17:30pm | Fully office based.
Salary: £35,000 per annum + Uncapped Commission.
