Cover Supervisor

Smile are currently working with one of our Multi Academy Trusts based in Melton Mowbray who are currently seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to join them for long-term work in Primary Schools.

The role will be based in one of their sites in Melton Mowbray (LE13) supporting across Key Stages 3-5 classes and are looking for people for an immediate start.

What your day will look like?

  • The role is mainly to provide cover for absent teachers, managing a classroom ensuring that the students remain on task with the work that has been set.
  • Preparing classrooms for the lessons ahead (all lessons will be prepped)
  • Managing the behavior levels of students within the classroom environment and being confident to do so

    What you will need?

    • Experience working within a school setting (secondary would be great)
    • Evidence of working with children through adequate references
    • Passion and drive for supporting children within schools
