The role:Â
The Darwin Account Management team are responsible for managing, maintaining and enhancing the relationships with our clients, as well as managing any changes to the clientsâ requirements whilst using the platform and its services.
We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join this team based within the London office.
This role would suit an experienced Account/Client Manager/Consultant with either existing employee benefits or SaaS experience looking for a new opportunity looking after a portfolio of local and international clients.

We will rely on you to:Â
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with multiple people at the client to expand engagement across the client organization.
- Uncover and understand the clients strategic business objectives, and well as those of individual stakeholders.
- Responsible for a portfolio of clients ensuring their success with Darwin.
- Use measures of a client health to drive insights, to identify and mitigate areas of risk, and to take proactive action.
- Successfully retains a portfolio of clients through contract renewals, maintaining profitability.
- Providing excellent service and being the main point of contact for your client.
- Protecting and retaining your client relationships and existing revenue.
- Working to retention & growth targets and other KPIs (Revenue, Pulse & Retention).
- Helping to resolve client issues in a timely manner with the help of our internal teams.
- Brings in the Darwin or MMB expert at the right time to maximise the upsell and cross sell opportunities.
- Collaborating with sales, solutions delivery, technology & support departments.
- Maintains all relevant systems such as JIRA, Confluence and Salesforce with up to date information.
- Supports marketing events and communications ensuring our clients are invited to events and webinars and are sent relevant articles and Thought Leadership.
- Recognising client white space and seeking out opportunities.
- Orchestrating and running Business review meetings â seek feedback from clients on whatâs working well/not.Â
- Prepares and presents using best practice templates for business review meetings.
What you need to have:
- Prior experience in a similar Account Manager/Consultant/Client Manager role.
- Experience working in Technology or Employee Benefits industry.
- Be a natural with clients and be able to quickly build trust with senior stakeholders.
- Strong communications skills, with the ability to have honest conversations.
- Ability to prioritise.
- Ambitious, driven and self-motivated.
- Confident with well-developed presentation skills.
What makes you stand out:
- Experience with SaaS is a bonus
- A track record of overachieving sales & retention targets.
- Recent experience with owning a portfolio of accounts.
