Temp All Staffing are currently recruiting a sous chef on behalf of our client, being a part of a team of chefs delivering high quality brasserie food to both hotel guests and non-residents, as well as delivering food to the events space as required.

* Preparation and production of high-quality foods in all areas including but not limited to The Brasserie, Lounge, Conferences and events
* Working within agreed budgets and regulations, and meeting budget targets
* Work closely with the Food and Beverage team to enhance product knowledge and increase the customer experience
* Some planning, pricing and development of menus
* Ensuring the highest level of food hygiene in the kitchen at all times
* Ensure health and safety legislation is complied with in the Kitchen areas
* Preparation of all services which at times may include breakfast and staff food
* Assisting with the day to day delivery of a 4\* guest experience
* Any other such duties that may be required from time to time by the Head Chef or their nominee

_*Skills and Experience:*_
* Previous experience of working in a quality hotel or quality restaurants
* Working knowledge of budgets and waste management
* COSHH knowledge
* Experience of organising, prioritising and managing a section
* Experience of coaching/mentoring in a kitchen environment
* Cook to a standard expected in a four star hotel
* Ability to supervise a small team
* Attention to detail
* Creative and flexible approach to work
* Excellent communication skills
* Calm and well organised approach to work
* Passion for excellence in customer service

INDCHEF

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £34,164.00 per year

Schedule:
* 10 hour shift
* 12 hour shift
* Monday to Friday
* Weekend availability
