Job Description

As the Head of Sales for the Rail and Bus industries, you will be responsible for leading a small team and managing sales activities related to our vehicle electronic systems. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including OEMs, direct end-users, and channel partners. You will work closely with design specifications on mechatronic components such as lighting, switches, buttons, harnesses, etc., ensuring that our products meet the unique needs of our clients in this sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate a small sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate the Rail and Bus industries and expand market share.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at OEMs, direct end-users, and channel partners.Collaborate with internal teams, including design and engineering, to ensure alignment between customer requirements and product development.Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to senior management

The Successful Applicant

The Head of Sales will have:

Proven track record of success in sales, particularly in the Rail & Bus/transportation sector.Experience managing a sales team and driving results in a fast-paced environment.Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex product specifications.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
