Salary: £80,000depending on experience plus executive benefits In this role as a head ofFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) in the Air sector youwill be:

• Leading theco-ordination and consolidation of the Air sector financialperformance through monthly reporting, including half & fullyear activity, and through the businesses long term financialplanning process (IBP). You will work closely with the FP&Ateams to forecast, plan and understand the sector financialperformance, while also improving the processes through which theyare delivered Responsible for the delivery of high-qualityFP&A services to the Air Sector, taking inputs from a varietyof sources, analysing these, and bringing them together to providequality, forward looking insights and analysis. You will need tounderstand each business to identify trends, highlight risks andopportunities and provide analysis, challenges and recommendationsto seniorstakeholders Responsible for the production and review of sectorfinancial packs, including the financial elements presented atsector level IBP and CBR (Chief Executive)reviews Overseeing the BAE Systems reporting of the MBDAjoint venture Deputising for the Air FP&A Director in reviewswith other Senior FinanceDirectors Collaborating with Finance Business Partners (FBPs)and the wider finance function to actively contribute to widerbusiness improvement initiatives to drive standardisation,efficiency andeffectiveness

Your skillsand experiences:

• Member of a recognisedUK professional accountancy body (ACCA, CIMA etc) with significantpost qualifying experience. Bringing a broad experience of financemanagement, planning and commercial finance in a complex business,and ideally and a strong track record in the FP&Adomain Demonstration of business understanding andarticulation of forecast movements, risks and opportunities. Theability to synthesise multiple information points into a clear andsuccinct message, and comfortable making recommendations to seniorstakeholders on courses ofaction While part of our FP&A capability centre, thisrole will draw on all aspects of finance within BAE Systems so youwill ideally have had exposure to aspects of Project Finance, CostPerformance andGovernance Strong interpersonal skills, you will be able toquickly establish efficient and effective working relationshipswith the wider team, and to influence key stakeholders across alllevels of theorganisation Organisation and management, you will beresponsible for setting the planning and reporting drumbeat acrossthe Sector and will be comfortable coordinating across a wide team,and planning to meet key deadlines and deliverables
