The role involves providing astute legal advice and representation across a diverse range of landlord and tenant issues, as well as general acquisition and disposal work. The ideal candidate will manage a varied caseload, encompassing lease renewals, relocations, lease management, rent reviews, property refinancing, and the property facets of corporate transactions.
 
Your caseload will consist of the following matters:
 

  • Landlord and Tenant matters
  • Succession
  • Disrepair
  • Boundary disputes
  • Adverse possession
  • Nuisance   
  • Trespass
  • Enforcement of leasehold covenants
  • Party walls and access to neighbouring land
  • Possession proceedings and forfeiture
  • Business lease renewals and dilapidation
  • Service charges and tenancy deposits
  • Collective enfranchisement and lease extensions 
  • Applying for injunctions
  • Eviction
  • Rent arrears

 
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience, demonstrating a track record of independent work on complex matters, alongside a collaborative spirit to work within a dynamic team. Exceptional client care, communication skills, and a proactive approach to marketing and networking are essential. An existing client following would be advantageous.
