The Role
The role of Finance Assistant will initially have responsibility of the Purchase Ledger with an aim to, in time, take over the whole transactional and month end process for one of the groups entities. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will have experience of purchase ledger and ideally sales ledger.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be able to build efficient working relationships with a number of non-finance stakeholders within the organisation. It is also key for this individual to balance their time effectively and prioritise set tasks at the appropriate time.
You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:
Full Purchase Ledger process Sales LedgerInter-company charges Bank ReconciliationsVAT returnsAssisting with ad hoc finance and admin duties
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:
Previous Purchase Ledger experience Strong organisational skillsStrong IT skills (in particular Excel)Ability to work to deadlinesExcellent communication skills
