Reed Accountancy are delighted to working with a well-established organisation based in Grangemouth currently seeking a talented Finance graduate for their Purchase Ledger team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent finance graduate to gain valuableexperience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Processing invoices, credit notes and payment requests
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Ensuring all invoices are accurately posted to the general ledger
- Investigating and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner
- Managing the supplier database and ensuring all records are up to date
- Assisting with month-end and year-end processes as required
Qualifications and Skills:
- A degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Prior experience in a finance or accounts payable role is desirable but not essential.
