The role:

An exciting opportunity to join British Airways SEQOHS Accredited Occupational Health Service as an Occupational Health Practice Nurse has arisen

Based at Waterside, near London Heathrow, you will play an integral part in promoting health, safety and well-being for British Airways employees.

What you'll do:
  • Carry out pre-employment medical assessment screenings, provision of immunisations and health advice.
  • Provide specialist health advice and assistance to staff on fitness to work and the prevention of work-related ill health in ground, air and overseas environments.
  • The role holder will sometimes be required to work at our smaller health centers in Heathrow / Gatwick or other sites.
What you'll bring to British Airways:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
  • Champions innovation and agility, with an enthusiastic approach to team working.
Your experience:
  • Registered General Nurse (Nurse and Midwifery Council Part 1) with current nursing experience.
  • Previous Occupational Health Nursing experience is essential.
  • Evidence of immunisation training is essential.
  • You must be an NMC registered adult nurse with post graduate experience.
  • You must have up to date experience in Occupational Health screening and immunisations.

*Please note some shift work is required for this role, with shifts rostered between the hours of 0730 - 1700, Monday to Friday. There may sometimes be a business requirement to cover some shifts outside of these hours.
