The Company:

Our client is one of the most recognisable names in the UK Accountancy market. They employ over 1000 people across several offices and have a formidable reputation for providing high-quality work and building long-lasting relationships with clients.
The firm provides all traditional disciplines you would expect of a large CA Practice such as Audit, Business Services/Advisory (Accounts), Corporate Finance, Payroll Bureau, and Tax. The FR department has had a particularly busy year over the past 12 months with tremendous growth of the portfolio as well as across the firm.

The Role:
As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing Financial Reporting Advisory services to clients, collaborating closely with the Audit team, and working directly with various businesses outside of the audit sphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare consolidated financial statements and work closely with the Audit team on disclosures.
Act as the main point of contact for clients on most assignments.
Provide Financial Reporting Advisory services, offering technical accounting expertise to clients.
Collaborate with businesses operating under different frameworks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Assist in merger and demerger processes, offering senior-level expertise in handling complex financial reporting issues.

Key Experience:

Proven experience in financial reporting, Audit, or experience working on consolidated Accounts reporting under FRS 102 or IFRS.
Strong technical accounting skills, with proficiency in FRS 102 and IFRS.
Experience with consolidated financial statements and complex reporting requirements.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
