Are you a Town Planner with over a year of experience looking for an exciting new opportunity?

Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a prominent housebuilding company in the UK, that emphasises sustainable and community-focused town planning in its developments. They are looking for an Assistant Town Planner to join their team in Caterham. This company ensures regulatory compliance and engages with local authorities and communities to incorporate feedback. There is a strong focus on the residential sector with this role.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in managing and delivering a range of planning projects from inception to completion.

* Provide planning advice to clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.

* Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and representations.

* Conduct site appraisals, research, and analysis to inform planning strategies.

* Liaise with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders.

About You:

* A degree in Town Planning or a related field.

* Over 2 years of experience in planning consultancy role, ideally dealing with residential projects.

* Knowledge of the UK planning system, policies, and regulations.

* Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

* A proactive approach with a passion for delivering practical and effective planning solutions.
