About The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a developing mental health social work service in North Powys based in Welshpool. This is a management opportunity and the role includes managing and supporting a small qualified social work and AMHP staff team. We work to the social services and wellbeing act with prevention at the heart of what we do and under the Welsh Measure. Our aims within Mental Health Services align with Powys County Council’s strategic objectives:

AMHP qualification

What You Will Do:

Lead with a small management team

Deliver quality services

Offer supervision and complex case work advice

AMHP interventions under the MHA 1983 (2007) subsequent amendments

Caseload management, allocations and case closures

Interagency collaborative working and development of social care processes
