Private Client Tax Senior

The role of the Private Client Tax Senior is client-facing and you will oversee a portfolio of clients, establishing yourself as a reliable and trusted advisor while providing essential assistance to senior team members and guiding junior colleagues.
This role requires you to serve as the main point of contact for colleagues, clients, HMRC, and other interested parties encompassing a wide array of responsibilities. Alongside the diverse workload and the challenge of assisting various taxpayers, there are opportunities to develop specialisms when these arise.
About the role
- Managing a varied and interesting client portfolio (including high net worth individuals, self-employed, landlords and entrepreneurs) and oversee the annual compliance of Self-Assessment tax returns - including the review of tax return work and corresponding workings / schedules prepared by junior members of the team.
- Supervise and provide ongoing support for junior members of the team and provide feedback where appropriate.
- Working alongside more experienced members of the team and liaising with HMRC, clients and internal teams as needed.
- Managing internal team workflows to ensure efficient work practices, coordinating both client and internal deadlines, and regularly reviewing WIP for financial hygiene.
