The full time shift pattern is Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday one week and then Wednesday, Thursday, Friday the following week and so on. Shifts are 12 hours including an hour and 15 minute break. The day shift commences at 7:50am and ends at 8:05pm.

We can offer you either Days OR Nights - you choose.

Hours: Full time staff members work an average of 38.5 hours a week. We occasionally offer part time positions on average our part time staff members work 22 to 33 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities:

Engaging young people and developing therapeutic relationshipsSupporting young people through therapeutic interventions/programsEscorting and supporting young people in the communitySharing feedback about young person's presentationCompleting records and notes in accordance with policySafeguarding young peopleRisk assessment and risk managementOrganising with the young person a weekly plannerProviding stimulating activityLife skills developmentPhysical health monitoring (Training will be provided)Empowering young people to be the best they can beGeneral housekeepingWorking with young person to prepare mealsVerbal de-escalationUse of DBT language - Training will be provided.Working with families and carersAdhere to data protection act and policiesAttend and participate in handoversMonitoring young people's health and well-being and reporting back to senior staffUphold and adhere to all local and company policy and proceduresWork with the wider/local community in a positive mannerTo keep up to date with appropriate training in line with PDP including online modules.Being a really fun person who is reliable and a team player :)
