Venn Group are currently recruiting for a Communications Officer on behalf of an Education Group in Cambridgeshire.

The position’s purpose is lead on the delivery of public relations, corporate communications, and social media.

Responsibilities:

  • Pro-actively works to uncover and promote the works, activities, and successes of organisation functions
  • Gather, build, and maintain a library of case studies including testimonials, photos and videos
  • Actively researches stories for press releases and liaises with local, regional, and international media
  • Pro-actively manage media relations and build effective media contact database
  • Actively approaches media to provide a local angle to national news stories and sell-in stories
  • Lead on coordinating PR and Communication campaigns to take full advantage of national initiatives

To be considered for this pivotal role, you will have expertise in a marketing department writing press releases and liaising with the press,
