Your new company
We are currently looking to recruit a Team Manager for the Children's Intake Team in Vale of Glamorgan, on a full-time contract with the option to go permanent or on a rolling temporary contract. As the manager of the Intake Team, you will be overseeing a team that is responsible for completing a range of assessments, conducting section 47 enquiries and establishing whether longer-term plans are needed for families. They are also involved in issuing court proceedings where needed.

Your new role
You will have the chance to work on a hybrid working model along with their flexible working policy that allows you to request compressed hours from 37 hours. You will be providing a social work service for children, young people and their families/carers, in line with relevant legislation, guidance, regulations and national standards. The Local Authority prides itself on building and working to people's strengths and ensures that you receive the best possible support and training possible.

What you'll need to succeed
- Social Work degree
- Registered with Social Care Wales
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience previously managing a team.
- Experience in Children's Services
