YOUR ROLE
Our cross-dock operation based at Daventry DIRFT, in Crick, have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor where you will lead your team with a focus on meeting customer fulfilment whilst adhering to contractual SLAs, operational and customer service excellence.
This amazing role will see you working a day shift, Monday to Friday, from 8am to 4:30pm.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will lead a team of warehouse operatives where you will allocate all warehouse operational tasks through effective shift briefings ensuring that tasks are completed to the highest standard to achieve operational performance and KPI targets. Through effective planning, you will review and maintain labor resource, taking into consideration attendance and sickness to meet operational challenges and take responsibility for performance reporting, collating information for performance review and managers requirements.
In the event of an onsite incident, you will communicate with managers and colleagues to ensure that all operational issues are resolved through the collaboration with wider functions, partnering with health and safety to embed a positive HSEQ culture across the operation.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor or Shift Manager who comes from a 3PL/warehousing background, ideally with prior working knowledge of operating within a co-pack operation. You’ll need to be a robust people manager with a passion for motivating and developing your team, have a keen eye for detail and the ability to understand, follow and champion company procedures.
