My client, a respected global leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their innovative team in Beccles, Suffolk. This position is an amazing chance to be part of a company that truly values its employees and invests in their future.

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you'll have the exciting opportunity to work across all aspects of maintenance, focusing primarily on autonomous and preventive maintenance programmes. You'll also play a crucial role in breakdown resolution and contribute to continuous improvement projects. This diverse range of responsibilities means no two days will be the same, allowing you to constantly expand your skill set and tackle new challenges.

The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm and a 'can-do' attitude to the role, thriving in an environment where safe working practices and machine safety systems are paramount.

To excel in this Multi-Skilled Engineer role, you'll need:
  • GCSE Grade 4/C level or above education
  • Qualification in at least one core discipline (Electrical or Mechanical) with a strong understanding of a second
  • Experience in at least one core discipline (Electrical or Mechanical) with a strong understanding of a second
  • Experience with production equipment maintenance and refurbishment
  • Knowledge of the plastics manufacturing industry (desirable)
  • Strong engineering background and mechanical aptitude
