Job Purpose:The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of maintenance, with a focus on autonomous, preventive maintenance programs, breakdowns, and supporting Continuous Improvement (C.I.) projects and refurbishments as required. Safety systems and safe working practices are paramount in this role.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the team to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Deliver sustainable preventative maintenance and efficient breakdown services on operational equipment.
- Implement preventative and autonomous maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Respond to breakdowns as required by the shift team leader, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Approach all tasks with a proactive and positive attitude, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in all aspects of maintenance.
- Complete all tasks in accordance with relevant work procedures and safety protocols.
- Ensure tasks are completed efficiently and professionally, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
- Communicate relevant information to engineering team leaders and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination.
- Work as part of a team and independently during planned and emergency breakdown situations, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols and hygiene rules at all times, prioritizing the well-being of self and others.
- GCSE Grade 4/C level or above in relevant subjects.
- Qualified in at least one core discipline (Electrical or Mechanical) with a strong understanding of a second.
