Kenneth Brian Associates are working with a well-respected business whose H/Q are based in Gatwick, West Sussex. Our client are looking to hire an experienced and Qualified Financial Controller working at their offices (5 days per week) with on-site parking.

The role involves regional consolidations, audit, statutory accounts, tax, VAT returns and controls. Our client is looking for someone who is passionate about statutory accounting.

Description
Manage the annual statutory audit cycles across all of the Europe entitiesManage any internal audit requestsOversee preparation of statutory accounts for all legal entitiesWork closely with advisor's to ensure completion + filing in line with local deadlinesTrack + minimise accounting differences between management and statutory accountsMaintain good working relationship with key stakeholdersEnsure robust internal controls existSubmission of statistical returns across the groupUpdates to wider business on audit processes + importance of internal controlsSupport of broader finance team deliverables + projectsLine management of junior staff membersProcess staff payroll
Profile:
Qualified - ACA / ACCA / CIMAPrevious all round accounting experience Strong Excel
Person Specification:
A fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). Experience of producing Stat accountsTechnically strong accounting skillsExcellent communication skills
