Maximise Your Potential:

RCT Council is once again preparing to recruit to its Graduate Programme that provides fantastic opportunities to work in a vibrant environment, learn new and transferable skills, meet people from a range of backgrounds and develop a professional career in Rhondda Cynon Taf. All Graduate Officers will be supported to complete either a Level 4 Project Management qualification or job-related technical training (all fully funded) as part of the programme.

Regional Collaboration:

The Regional Connecting Care Team is offering a unique opportunity to work not just across Rhondda Cynon Taff, but also across the entire Cwm Taf Morgannwg Region during a time of digital transformation.  The Nationally used social care and health system is in the process of being replaced and You will have an opportunity to play a key role in supporting the implementation of the replacement system.

You will work with a range of staff across the Health, Social Care and the Digital landscape in the region.  You will support collaborative working, identify regional opportunities for further collaborative working.  All whilst supporting the numerous communication processes throughout.

You will work as part of a small but dedicated remote team of staff with opportunities to contribute to local, regional and national projects.  You will be expected to engage with stakeholders including; system administrators, care practitioners and directors of services.  All whilst undertaking a range of project support activities, leading to responsibility when suitable.

Dedicated mentor / line management support will be provided to develop confidence and independence, and a strong working relationship will be required with the Regional Change Manager to work proactively and effectively as an individual, or as part of a team, where required.

Who We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a positive, trustworthy, engaging and genuinely proactive individual.  You will need to be comfortable to adapt to an ever changing work environment but also able to maintain standards for business as usual expectations where required. You will have an interest in project management processes and application with the ability to consider numerous ways of working to meet other’s needs.

You will need to be confident in your ability / potential ability to create presentations, report cards and update web content (In house training will be provided).  Communication skills in an academic and practical approach will be needed to engage with stakeholders in the most appropriate methods.  You will need to be proficient in the use of the core MS Office suite of products.

A minimum 2:2 degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Business Management, Project Management related subject
