We are seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to join our team. The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
Health & Safety Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
- Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate accident and near miss investigation processes
- Provide safety training to employees on topics such as first aid, emergency response, and personal protective equipment
- Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents, near misses, and corrective actions
- Carry out site Health and Safety audits and act on the outcome of these audits
- Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and promote a culture of safety awareness
- Prepare and present reports on safety performance metrics to senior management
Health & Safety Manager's Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred
- Proven experience in developing and implementing safety programs
- Knowledge of Food Safety & Hygiene regulations and requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough root cause analysis
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise reports
- NEBOSH diploma
- Certification in IOSH or above
Health & Safety Manager Benefits:
- Salary 45k - 55 (DOE)
