Business Services Group based in Portsmouth, Hampshire, has a newly created opportunity for a Financial Systems Analyst to support the wider function in improving financial processes and ensuring robust controls are in place throughout the organisation.

What will the Financial Systems Analyst role involve?
Reporting to the Head of Systems Improvement, the key responsibilities of the role will include:Review of existing financial controls and segregation of duties across all internal financial systems;Identifying any areas of improvement and making recommendations to internal controls, implement effective change where required;Work with wider finance function to understand specific processes within each individual unit and recommend and support and required changes to internal controls;Proactively evaluate systems risks and engage process owners to ensure root causes are identified and addressed.
Suitable Candidate for the Financial Systems Analyst vacancy:
Applicants for the position will have knowledge of system controls identification and evaluation and experience in performing system and risk controls testing.
