Job Description Summary

Cushman and Wakefield are looking for a Client Accounts Assistant to join their Global Occupier Services team on a 12 month FTC basis.

Your role purpose will be to Support the Client Finance Manager and Accountants to deliver outputs and provide assistance to routine accounting tasks, as well as enabling the team to achieve all deliverables and accurate reporting to internal and external parties in accordance with Client Contract terms, SLAâs and KPIâs.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Process all purchase invoices through to approval in accordance with payment terms, ensuring all invoices are recorded within targets set.
  • Accurate and timely completion and or reconciliation of Vendor Statements Vendor Ledgers, and Vendor queries.
  • Ensure that all client spend is properly recorded
  • Provide spend reports to Client Cost Centre Managers and assist with query resolution.
  • Assist with the creation of journals for accruals, funding receipts/ transfer & reclass journals
  • Book monthly bank charges, create and process bank charges invoices.
  • Provide Accounts Payable metrics, including Invoice Payment efficiency reports, identification of inactive vendors and other ad hoc reporting requests
  • Assist with the set-up of new vendors
  • Assist with the maintenance of vendor data and other Accounts Payable data
  • Ensure that all Client data is accurate and up to date and ensure that all necessary updates are identified for update
  • To continue to build and develop excellent working relationships with all vendors, internal team and client.
  • To maintain a central mailbox ensuring all correspondence is processed
  • Identify any operational/reporting issues
  • Prepare month end reports
  • Charge batch & journal for vendorâs refunds

Key knowledge and experience:

  • A minimum of two years knowledge and experience of purchase ledger in a commercial property environment
  • Experience of managing wide range for stakeholder relationships, Client, Vendors and Operational Teams
  • Experience in dealing with foreign payments.
  • AAT or equivalent.
  • Experience of C&W Fusion Financial Management System (Yardi) or Workday accounts packages (Desirable).
