What you'll do:

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our Transactional Finance Team. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring accurate and timely posting and payment of invoices. You will handle everything from processing invoices for payment to maintaining the vendor master database. Your ability to communicate effectively with suppliers will be key in resolving any invoicing or payment queries. Manage allocated AP accounts, adhering to all related policies and compliance measuresProcess non-purchase order and purchase order invoices for paymentPost invoices/credit notes as per business requests, ensuring correct coding in the accounting systemPerform routine Accounts Payable tasks under the direction of the Accounts Payable Team LeaderMaintain vendor master databaseHandle reconciliation, payments and controls (RPC)Monitor direct debit transactionsPrepare monthly supplier statement reconciliationsManage supplier accounts proactively and monitor ageingCommunicate with suppliers to resolve invoicing, payment or other queries
What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Accounts Payable Specialist role brings proven experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within a Shared Services environment. You have excellent client and customer service skills, coupled with a strong academic record in Finance. Your ability to communicate effectively allows you to present complex financial information in a clear and understandable manner. Your strong analytical skills, combined with your ability to meet demanding deadlines, make you an ideal fit for this role.
Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably in a Shared Services environmentExcellent client and customer service skillsWorking knowledge of MS Office productsStrong academic record and experience in FinanceGood communicator with the ability to present financial information effectivelyHigh standard of written skillsGood interpersonal skillsStrong analytical skillsAbility to meet demanding deadlines
